Meeting the challenges of a global market
JNE Consulting’s ability to serve the personal consumer products industry on a worldwide basis was put to the test when Procter & Gamble engaged us to help implement a Global Standard Shampoo Making System.
The objective was to standardize manufacturing processes and implement a standards based quality control system at nine P&G plants worldwide so that new products were brought to market as quickly and efficiently as possible.
The challenging assignment meant finding solutions that could be applied at the nine locations where differences in engineering philosophies coupled with climate variations required a unique design that satisfied all stakeholders. 3D walkthroughs were produced to help the parties visualize and approve the design at various stages.
JNE provided a full range of services from front-end engineering in the conceptual and definition stages to detailed process design and construction assistance. The scope of work began with preliminary projects to upgrade existing plants and continued through complete engineering services to design and implement the global system that ensured consistent product quality, efficiency, reliability and rapid new product launch capability.
The assignment demonstrated JNE’s capacity to complete projects on schedule and within budget while meeting industry demands for safety, security and sanitary design.
